You must understand that during this curse, it appears others get to see old friends and other familiar faces. Others hope, but never get that chance.

To fill those unlucky people with false hope is very disappointing.

Where it is sad to wish for something and not get it, that dosn't mean you should avoid all things. Just because those you wish to see may, or may not come, dosn't mean you should forbid yourself from meeting anyone else who may pass by.
